Kathryn Louise Wethington, 72, passed away at 8:29 am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her residence in Alton, IL.
She was born on January 8, 1953, in Alton, IL. to William Joseph and Dorothy Mae (Hatfield) Wethington Sr.
Kathryn worked in shipping management at Venture and Grandpa's.
Kathryn is survived by her brothers, William "Joseph" Wethington Jr. of Grand Junction, CO, and John Wethington (Nannette) of Grafton, IL; her nieces, Ann (Josh) Krueger of Nebraska, Ashlee Wethington of Alton, IL, and Theresa (Austin) Curvey of Godfrey, IL; her nephew, Steven (Nicole Veicht) Porter of Maryville, IL; her caregiver, Lorraine Lucas of Alton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Michael Wethington and Patrick Wethington, sisters Regina Wethington, Maureen Redgate, and Stephanie Wethington, and niece Katie Redgate.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes - Godfrey, Illinois. Rev. Alex Melton will be officiating.
Inurnment will take place at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey, IL.
