Jason Thomas Long, 56, of Jerseyville, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
He was born in Greenville, IL, on December 24, 1968, the son of William Thomas and Carolyn Lee (Kinworthy) Long, Jr.
Jason formerly worked as a truck driver. He was a member of NRA and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing on his computer and PlayStation. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his two brothers, Mark Long of Mechanicsburg, IL. and Matt (Teresa) Long of Mechanicsburg, IL.; nieces and nephews, Bry Long, Chans Long, Isaiah Long, Trinity Long, Duncan Long, James Moore, Kimberly Mouse, Shelby Peek, and Dezaray Antonacci; as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Grayson Long.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto has been entrusted with final wishes.
