Gregg A. Pansa, 53, passed away at 9:40pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, in the emergency room at SSM DePaul Hospital in St. Louis. He was born on September 16, 1971, in Belleville, the son of the late Marvin and Margaret (Elliott) Pansa.
Survivors include a son: Dalton (Gabrielle Blakley) Pansa of Moro, two grandchildren: Maddox Pansa, Brylinn Pruett, his sisters and brothers in law: Kathi and Joel Sutton of East Alton, Sheree and Brian Harrigan of St. Louis, his nephew: Mike Sutton, his niece: Megan (Mike) Burk of St. Louis, his best friends: Jason and Ericka Sawyer of East Alton, and their children, his fiancé: Kristin Rogers of Florissant, Missouri, her children: Tony and Sierra Rogers, Madison Rogers, Isabelle Rogers, Kristin’s grandchildren: Colton and Nolan. He was a beloved uncle and great uncle.
Gregg was employed as a union painter through IUPAT Local 471 for over twenty years prior to going to work at Gonzales Companies in St. Louis. He was an avid motorcycle rider. He loved his family, his grandkids, his pugs, hunting and fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife: Carol Hook, and his grandma: Helen Powell.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
