Adda "Louise" Runyan, 89, of Moro, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
She was born in Geary, Oklahoma, on June 14, 1935, the daughter of John Henry and Mildred Irene (Davidson) Sires. She married Reverend James Lester Runyan in Bethany, OK, on July 31, 1955. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2011.
Louise worked in administration as a federal employee before her retirement. She was a member of Roxana Church of the Nazarene and Christian Women's Association. She enjoyed music and being in the choir.
Survivors include her children, James Lee (Sandi) Runyan of Edinburg, Texas, Michael Runyan of Alton, and David (Amy) Runyan of Moro; a brother, Leland (Eva) Sires of Wewahitchaka, FL; fifteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, James, she was preceded in death by two half brothers; and four half sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Reverend Ronald Durr and Reverend Larry Lacher will officiate.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
