Timothy Haller

Granite City 06/07/2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy “Tim” Haller, 60, of Granite City, IL, who departed this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home. Born on August 31, 1964, in East St. Louis, IL, Tim was the beloved son of the late Bernell and Ethel Mae (Hart) Haller.

On August 9, 1997, Tim married the love of his life, Regina “Gina” Miskell, and together they shared a bond that was unwavering, full of laughter, love, and loyalty. A proud and dedicated motor operator at Stein Steel Mill for many years, Tim was admired by coworkers for his work ethic and grit.

Tim was a true original. Whether he was riding his Harley on open roads, organizing spirited motorcycle rallies like the legendary Frosty Ball Ride on New Year’s Day, or tinkering in his garage, Tim lived life with passion and purpose. He was a jack of all trades, a gifted artist, and a skilled tattooist with a talent for bringing imagination to life with ink and sketch.

He was the kind of man who never met a stranger—friendly, generous, and endlessly kind. Whether it was helping a neighbor, fixing what was broken, or giving a home to a stray animal, Tim gave of himself freely and with a full heart. He will be remembered most for his deep devotion to family, his fierce loyalty, and his remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Haller.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gina Haller of Granite City, IL; his children who brought him immense pride and joy—Rachel (Louis) Kampouris of Overland, MO, Gabriel Haller of Granite City, IL, Chaz Haller of Roxanna, IL, Courtney Haller of Granite City, IL, and Sarah Berkman of Worden, IL; and his cherished grandchildren, Payten, Isabel, Everley, Kolston, and Zyla. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Curtis Haller of Madison, IN, Linda Haller of Shell Knob, MO, Carol Gregory of Pleasant Hill, IA, and Diane Carroll of Edwardsville, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and fellow riders who will carry his memory forward.

A memorial service celebrating Tim’s remarkable life will be held at a later date.

In honor of Tim’s giving spirit, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
