June (Louise) Morgan Gibbs, 65, of Wood River, IL, formerly of Chester County, PA, and Littleton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
June was born on August 21, 1959, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Morgan.
She loved animals, her golden retrievers, cats, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Warren County Animal Ark rescue as well as being a staunch advocate for many causes.
June loved her life on Lake Gaston and her Lake Gaston community friends.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Benjamin Gibbs, Jr, her parents, and her twin sister Joyce Wilson of Arizona.
June will be sadly missed. She is survived by her sister Joanne Morgan, cousins, significant other Gregory Beckham, dear friend Deb Seline as well as other dear friends.
Donations in her name can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Warren County Animal Ark.
