Marsha Ann Senger, 83, died at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her home in Grafton.
Born February 13, 1943, in Alton, Illinois, Marsha was one of four children born to the late Robert and Opal (Gladstone) Miller.
Raised in Grafton, she spent many years working at the Grafton Post Office as the Post Master. Marsha was also the treasurer of Grafton United Methodist Church, a big Elvis Presely fan and enjoyed going to Grafton music in the park.
On September 26,1961 she married William Herman “Bill” Senger at the Ninth Street Presbyterian Church in Alton. Together they started the family business of Senger Gas Company in Grafton. Bill passed away December 27, 2020.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff (Missy) Senger of Grafton; three daughters, Barb Bollinger (Stephen Shafer), Lisa (Fred) Ingrim and Sara Senger all of Grafton; nine grandchildren, Anna (Ryan) Karnes, Abbi (fiancé Brad Pallme), Andrew Senger, Ryan (Bryanna) Bollinger, Kyle (Courtney) Bollinger, Alexis (Garrett) Tepen, Whitley (Josh) Loesche Haley Cope and Kelyn (Lindsey) Cope; eight great-grandchildren, Peyton, Arianna, Vera, Bentley, Langston, Caroline, William and Blaire; sister in laws, Elizabeth "Betty" Narup and Joyce Senger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a great grandson: Owen William Bollinger, son-in-law Randall “Randy” Bollinger, nephew Thomas “Tommy” Senger, In-laws William and Elizabeth Senger; brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Senger; a sister, Mary Francis Gill; and two brothers and sister-laws, Warren (Margie) Miller and Victor (Bonnie) Miller.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville with Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Funeral Home.
Burial to follow at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton.
