Arthur W. Cox, 69, of Gillespie, IL, died at his residence on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was born August 16, 1956, in Carlinville, IL to James Leslie Cox Sr & Helen Ileen Conlee Cox. He is survived by his sister, Brenda (Fred) Schwappach of Highland, IL, several nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry Eller, James Cox, Jr., sisters, Linda Langford, Elizabeth Robinson, Jean Donaldson. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
