Nichole Madrey, 29, of East Alton, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.
She was born on January 10, 1997, in Alton, the daughter of William A. and Serena F. (Madrey) Jeffers of Cleveland, TX.
Nichole received her GED from Lincoln Challenge. She worked as a waitress while spending the last few years in Tennessee. She enjoyed working, especially waiting tables, and she was proud of her journey in sobriety. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Along with her parents, she is survived by three children, Lilly, Leon, and Leelah; a brother, Nick Madrey; and several aunts and uncles, Sean Madrey, Scott Madrey, Biran Helm, Dawn (Tommy) Lischenring, Valerie (Richie) Franke, Venessa Jeffers, Carissa Meyers, Jeanne Madrey, and Kevi Lipe
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sharon Kay Madrey; an aunt, Shara M. Helm; an uncle, Samuel D. T. Madrey; and paternal grandfather, Harry Jeffers.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 3 pm until time of a celebration life service at 5 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
