Holly Sinnott, 73, of Moro, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Litchfield Health & Rehabilitation in Litchfield, IL. Born on December 24, 1952 in Glen Ridge, NJ, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Becker) Porter.
She was a retired secretary from Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, NJ. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. She married Paul Sinnott on September 25, 1981 in Montclair, NJ.
Surviving are her husband, Paul; a daughter, Tracy (Shawn) Comer of Edwardsville, IL; three grandsons, Aiden, Erik and Ian Comer; a brother, Robert "Bob" Porter of Bloomfield, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 pm, Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Alton. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton with Fr. Nathan Marzonie, OMV celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
