Jacqueline (Lehman) Ruyle, 70, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at her home.
Born Apr. 21, 1956 in Alton, she was the eldest daughter of Jack and Maxine (Roberts) Lehman.
Jacquee worked in the home health field as a human resource coordinator. She enjoyed camping and taking trips to Branson.
Survivors include her loving significant other of 38 years, Jeff Ballard; a daughter, Jacquee (Shaun) Schilling of Godfrey; a son, Richie (Leah) Ruyle of Jerseyville; her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Brenden Ruyle, Kylee (Ryan) Cassens, Inara Schilling and Delany Schilling and great grandson Liam Cassens; two sisters, Deni (Dave) Demmer and Glenda Rose, all of Jerseyville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Maxine, her dear sister, Rhonda Lehman, and her father-in-law, Frank Ballard.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the 5 A’s animal shelter in Alton, to honor Jacquee’s love for dogs.
