Audrey Jean Nischwitz (nee: Calvin), 81, passed away at 4:52 pm, Friday, October 30, 2026 at Cedarhurst Bethalto Memory Care Unit.
Born November 17, 1944 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Earl and Hele (Fischer) Calvin.
She is survived by her husband, Harley "Nick" Nischwitz; daughter, Tara Atwood and her husband, Rick; son, Rhett Nischwitz; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and John Thomas.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services have been scheduled at this time.
A special "Thank You" is extended to the Memory Care staff and Dover Hospice nurses.
