Charles "Chip" "Charlie" Ireland II, 34, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 21, 1977 in Alton, IL to Charles L. Ireland of St. Stephen, SC and the late Helen J. (Grigsby-Johnson) Ireland.
In addition to his father, he is survived by 2 daughters, Madisen Ireland of Cadiz, KY and Emily Davis of Roxana; 2 sons, Dominick Ireland of Cadiz, KY and Kollin Gene Blaze Jelinek of Ellington, MO; a sister, Shelly Seago of Chatham, IL; grandparents, Dorville & Zelda Johnson of East Alton; former spouse, Amanda Hunter of Cadiz, KY; and a special friend, Dayna Silva of Ellington, MO.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josetta Ireland.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thurs. July 12 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Fri. July 13, with Pastor Ritch Goldizen officiating. Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family.
