Barbara A. “Bonnie” Keen, 77, of St. Charles, MO, born October 29, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, MO.
Barbara grew up in East St. Louis, IL, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and Notre Dame Academy High School in Belleville, IL. She lived and worked in St. Louis and St. Charles, MO, for many years. She was a devoted member of the Catholic faith and throughout her life donated to various charitable organizations.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Francis E. and Theresa C., nee Shea, Keen; her two brothers, James Keen and Thomas Keen; and her nephew, Thomas Keen Jr.
Surviving are her two sisters, Mary F. Keen and Kathleen (Paul) Kornberger; and many dear nieces and nephews, Christine (Dr. Michael) Jones, Mark (Lori) Dyess, Michael Dyess, Karen (Eric) Adams, Christopher (Cindy) Kornberger, and Teresa (Timothy) Sweet.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
According to Barbara’s wishes, cremation services were held.
Burial of cremains will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery, at a later date.
