Brenden Dale Huelsmann, 30, of Troy, IL born Wednesday, November 23, 1994, in Maryville, IL and passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at St. Louis University Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Florence (nee Timmerman) Huelsmann and Terry and Pat (nee O’Malley) Singler.
Brenden is deeply loved and will forever be missed by his son, Oliver Casey Huelsmann (born December 11, 2023) of St. Louis, MO; his parents, Dale Huelsmann (Jodie Gibbs) of Collinsville, IL, Kelly Huelsmann (Dale Grapperhaus) of Troy, IL; his brother, Josh Huelsmann of Troy, IL; aunts, uncles, cousins he adored and many friends.
Brenden had a fun and free spirited soul that always wanted to be on the go. He graduated from Triad High School in 2013. Besides spending time with his son, he had a passion for riding BMX, skateboarding, drift cars and just about anything that would make his parents nervous. Brenden loved music shows and was an avid St. Louis Blues fan (unless they were playing his favorite team, the Ducks). His BigRugGuy business was a true show of what incredible artistic talent he had.
May Brenden’s sudden passing remind us of his example to try and enjoy life to the fullest everyday and the importance of living in the moment is a gift we should all carry.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date.
