Chamill was full of life, love, and endless dreams. She was ambitious, loving, kind, intelligent, funny, and unapologetically herself. Her infectious sense of humor would light up any room. She dreamed of seeing the world, making memories, and living life to the fullest.
Chamill never knew a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged, becoming everyone’s best friend. Her smile, laughter, and caring heart left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.
A 2025 graduate of Alton High School, Chamill was determined to build a life of purpose, service, and achievement. After graduation, she proudly enlisted in the United States Army as an Air and Missile Defense Crewmember. She was assigned to the 5th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Serving her country was something she was incredibly proud of, and her courage, strength, discipline, and selflessness reflected the remarkable young woman she had become.
Chamill is lovingly remembered by her mother, Whittney London (Josh); her father, Darance London; her cherished grandparents, Verdean Robinson and Connie Harrington; her beloved siblings, Jaiden and Jaida, as well as many other siblings on her father’s side; her best friends, Toni Holliday and Kimothy Griffie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, fellow soldiers, and countless other friends who loved her like family. She loved her family deeply and adored animals, especially her beloved dog, Barron.
We will always wish for more time with Chamill, but we are forever grateful for the 19 beautiful years we were blessed to have with her. Her life mattered. Her dreams mattered. The love she shared with her family and friends mattered. She will forever be remembered not only as a devoted soldier, but also as a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and loyal friend whose light can never be extinguished. We will speak her name with love, honor her life with gratitude, and cherish every memory she gave us.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, August 17, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church in Alton. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey with full military honors.
