Charlotte Mary Meyers (nee Schneck), 95, passed away on December 5, 2023.
She was born September 5, 1928, to John and Clara Schenk of West Alton, MO.
Charlotte lived most her life in West Alton and Portage Des Sioux, MO. She graduated from Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, IL. She worked for St Charles County and several years as a legal secretary in St Charles, MO. She enjoyed playing golf for several years in Eagle Springs ladies league as well as participating in the senior golden games. She was member of the quilters group at St France of Assisi in Portage Des Sioux.
She is survived by her five children, Pamela (Marvin) Edwards of Brighton, IL, Ruth Ann (Steven) Schroeder of Weldon Springs, MO, Donna Clayton of West Afton, MO, Dale (DeAnn) Meyers of Portage Des Sioux, MO and Mark (Jenny) Meyers of Lake St Louis, MO. Twelve grandchildren, Amy, Michelle, Jamie, Josh, Don, Cody, Robyn, Amber, Recca, Ryan, Cassie and Kelsey. Twenty-eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Carl Meyers; her parents, John and Clara (nee Brunstein) Schenk; her sisters, Dorothy Timmermeier and Rita Thomure; and her granddaughter, Rani (nee Doyle) Brown.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.
A private burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Alton, MO
