Donna Kay Jackson, 84, of Medora, died Tuesday, July 28, at her home. She was born August 11, 1941 in Carrollton to William J. and Mildred E. (Dickinson) Gleason.
Surviving are her children, Rhinda Overbey of Litchfield, and Marty (Laura) Overbey of Carrollton, her grandchildren, Heather (Charlie) Barnes, Matt (Kendra) Overbey, Bri Overbey, Becky Schreiber, and Jessica Hill, her grandchildren, Hayden Brant, CeCe Barnes, Mason Overbey, Emmy Overbey, Millie Arnold and Leighton Arnold, and her siblings, Connie Loy, Sue Phleger, Jerry Gleason, Dennis Gleason, and Jim Gleason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Terrie Prowse, grandson Chad Arnett, and sister Sally Stephenson.
Donna loved to cook and sew. One of her favorite jobs was cooking at Southwestern High School where she was loved by the students. She loved hummingbirds, but most of all spending time with her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, August, 8, 2026 at Carrollton City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those that wish to honor her memory do so with a memorial donation to Area Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 222, Chesterfield, IL. 62630.
