
Jacqueline Kaye Peipert, 75, died at 6:00 a.m., Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Friendship Village Skilled Nursing Facility in Sunset Hills, Missouri, after a courageous battle with cancer. She never lost her positive attitude and strong faith.
She was born August 13, 1949 in White Hall, Illinois, the youngest of two daughters born to Jack and Marian (Hudson) Neal.
After graduating in 1967 from North Greene High School, she attended Gem City Business College in Quincy, Illinois.
She was employed at Shell Oil Refinery in various administrative capacities for over 35 years. For more than 30 years she had a passion for helping rescue, foster and adopt animals in the community saving countless lives. She relished in knowing animals were saved and placed with good families.
On August 19, 1978, she married George Gregory “Greg” Peipert in Alton, and together they shared 37 years of marriage before his death on December 22, 2015. They both enjoyed the serenity of country living and spending time with family.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Erin and Lance Greer of Fenton, Missouri; a granddaughter, Gabriella Greer; a sister, Pat Hahn of White Hall; and a sister in law, Patricia Peipert of Jerseyville.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Peipert.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Greg, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Memorials may be given to Riverbend Humane Society.
