Janice S. Hartley, 67, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her home.
Born Jan. 16, 1956 in Alton, she was a daughter of Edward and Nelda (Lawrence) Masiero.
She married Jefferson F. Hartley Sept. 3, 1976. He survives.
Janice had a love of all animals. She was a collector of nautical-themed items and also snowmen. She loved everyone, especially her family who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her husband Jeff, she is survived by a daughter, Sondra (Clarence) Smith of Roxana; a son, Dustin (Shara) Hartley of Cottage Hills; two grandchildren, Taunia Ellis and Kenneth Smith; a great granddaughter, Belle Brown; her mother, Nelda Masiero of Cottage Hills; a sister, Nancy (Ray) Ontis of Nutwood; two brothers, Steve (Karen) Masiero of Cottage Hills and John (Shelley) Masiero of Godfrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Masiero and a brother, Jim Masiero.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
