Linda Clare Votaw, 76 Years, passed away on February 13, 2025, at Cedarhurst of Bethalto.
She was born on September 1, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Howard F. and Melva (Bergmann) Votaw.
Linda worked as a veterinarian for Hawthorne Animal Hospital, Edwardsville and was a member of Zonta Club of Alton-Wood River, IL.
Linda is survived by a sister-in-law, Andrea Votaw of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Charles Votaw.
Cremation rites have bee accorded by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Crematory.
Visitation will be from 1 pm until time of a prayer Service at 2 pm Sunday March 9, 2025 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor John Pawlowski officiating. Visitation will continue after the prayer service until 3 pm.
Memorials are suggested to: Oasis Women's Center, Safe Haven Progaram and/or 5A's (Alton Area Animal Aid Association).
