Marilyn L. Bush, age 86, of Swansea, IL, born on September 7, 1938, in Elizabeth, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Marilyn moved to Belleville, IL where she met and married the love of her life, Bob Bush. They were married for 35 lovely years. She loved to read, dance, and travel. She was a very loving lady and had a very humorous side. Marilyn at one time actually drove a semi-truck and had important jobs in accounting and clerical at many places. She will be missed and was loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Louise, nee Britsch Sonnenberg; and her sister, Rene Bohnenstiehl.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bob Bush; her children, Terri (Geoff) Thomas, Mark Waldron and Bradly (Lisa) Bush; 9 grandchildren, Eric Grisham, Ryan (Krystal) Grisham, Zachary Grisham (Melissa Calicotte), Cameren Thomas (Haley Morgan-Caulfield), Stephen (Danielle) Waldron, Christopher (Shannon) Waldron, Mica Tanner, Kristina Fryer and Alexa Waldron; 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
