Marjorie Ann Galle, nee Lisac, 92, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, January 19, 1934, in Granite City, IL, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026 at St. Peter’s Rehab in Saint Peters, MO.
Marjorie worked in Customer Service in the office for Swift Packing House. She retired from Ben Franklin in Belleville, IL and made custom cakes for 30 years. She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury in Belleville, IL. She was an artist at heart, a talented painter, a creative crafter often making amazing gifts for her loved ones. She was an avid gardener, tending to her flowers gave her great joy. She often revived flowers from withering to full bloom. Marjorie also had a special love for dolls, collecting hundreds of dolls over her lifetime. She was a founding member of the Southern Illinois Doll Club making meaningful friendships over their shared passion for dolls.
Those who knew Marjorie will remember her for her faith, her devotion to family, and the care she poured into the people and things she loved.

Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Services: Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Msgr. Bill McGhee officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
