Raymond George Taggart, 45, of Staunton, IL, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 9:18 am from complication related to Influenza A.
He was born December 16, 1979, in St. Louis, MO to Raymond Frank Taggart & Elizabeth Wallen Taggart.
He was a shop supervisor for JB Hunt in St. Louis, MO for 17 years. He was devoted to his family and just an all around great guy always putting others before himself. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, video games, watching movies and fixing anything broken.
He is survived by Jaqlyn, children, Noah, Laynee, Jacob, sister and brother in law, Danielle and Tom Campbell, nephew, Tommy, parents, Ray and Liz Taggart, grandparents, George and Roberta Wallen, great aunt and godmother, Bonnie Courtney and her husband Bob, great aunts, Beatrice and Vivian, and aunts and uncles, Noel and Ellen Taggart, Calista and Robert Kelly, Barbara and Kevin Scheirich, Bob and Nancy Wallen, Dale and Vicki Wallen, and many cousins, co workers and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calista and Raymond Taggart, uncles, Dennis and George, aunts, Selma and Mona.
A celebration of life will be held at Gillespie Civic Center on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 1pm. The family requests that there be no flowers.
