Sharon Jean Martin, nee Brown, 74, of Belleville, IL, born May 31, 1951, in Hillsboro, IL, died Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Bria Healthcare, Belleville, IL.
Sharon was a 1969 graduate of Taipei American School in Taiwan, and a 1973 graduate of SIUE. For 19 years, she taught math and science at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Sharon adored animals and loved painting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Doris, nee Cook, Brown.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Kenton Martin, whom she married March 23, 1974; a brother, David Brown; two nephews, David and John Brown; and cousins.
