Stuart Perdun

Stuart Lee Perdun, 58, died at 4:41 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his residence.He was born on in Jacksonville on Sept. 5, 1954, and was one of two children born to the late Stuart N. & Betty (Brady) Perdun.Stuart graduated in 1972 from Jersey Community High School and was employed in the construction field with the late George Lorton in Hardin, and was employed with Con-Agra in Alton for many years. Surviving are his fiance' Christy Mohr of Jerseyville; and her son & daughter in law, Chad & Amy Mohr; his aunts & uncle, Charlotte & Forrest Dickson and Alene Perdun all of Brighton; and cousins & their spouses, Dave & Jill Brady, Bill & Carla Brady all of Jerseyville, Theresa Conroy of Grafton, Alan & Shelly Brady of Cape Coral, Fl., Tony Brady of Kampsville, Lonnie Brady of Mozier and Gary Allen of East Alton; along with numerous other cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Shane Perdun; a sister, Beverly Jean Perdun; and his grandparents, Jacob & Bonita Perdun and William & Edith Brady.Visitation will be from 9 - 9:45 a.m., Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kane Cemetery.Memorials may be given to his family in care of the funeral home.
