Teresa A. Neese, 71, of Brighton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 5, 1954, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Mary and Edward Silveus.
Teresa married Byron A Neese on November 17, 1978, in Alton. He survives.
She worked as an inventory specialist for RGIS in Fairview Heights before retiring. Teresa enjoyed listening to music, singing in the choir, crocheting, crafts, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Byron A; sons John Grant of Brighton and Byron E (Leslie) Neese of St. Louis; grandchildren Savana Neese, John Grant Jr. and Gabriel Grant; great granddaughter Kaylee; three siblings Roy, Steve, and Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Edward; birth mother Margie, daughter in law Marylou; brother Dana.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
A burial will follow in Shipman Cemetery.
