Thomas J. “Tom” Hartmann, 71, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, March 3, 1954, in Detroit, MI, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his residence in Belleville, IL.
Tom was a graduate of Altoff Catholic High school and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Tom worked in Sales for ROHO Manufacturing for 40 years. While at ROHO, Tom was able to travel the world, experience new cuisines, and make many long-standing friendships. He also was a past President of Belleville YMCA , and he devoted much of his time to advocating and supporting the YMCA scholarship fund.
Throughout his life, Tom was an avid golfer. He could always be found on the golf course, rain or shine. He proudly had 14 hole-in-ones. Tom also enjoyed spending time with his 3 grandsons. He loved to attend their sporting events, watch them play in the backyard, or even make goofy faces with them. Tom also spent much of his time as a grade school basketball referee.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Clair County YMCA.
Visitation: Visitation from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Services: Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Father Clyde Grogan officiating.
