Timothy “Timmy” Freytag Jr. 41, of Wood River passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026. He was born September 24, 1984 in Alton. Timothy was employed by Freer Auto Body.
In his free time he loved to play pool, grill and hang with friends and family. He was an amazing artist.
He is survived by his son, Cameron Freytag; step son, Blake Leverett; mother, Sherri (Buck) Cobb; father, Timothy Freytag Sr. and step mother, Lisa Freytag; brothers, Ronnie Brokaw, Dalton Cobb and Damion Cobb: sisters, Rebecca Freytag, Nicole Brokaw and Sybil Brokaw; step sisters, Kendra Weathers and Holly Holbrook and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his step father, Joseph “Sean” Cobb; and step brother, Lance Holbrook.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Friday, September 11, 2026 at Paynic Home for Funerals in East Alton.
