William Arthur Pauley, 84, passed away Oct. 1, 2020 at his home.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and he was also a Mason.
He married Annetta Fisher in 1958, and had two daughters, Renee and Lisa Pauley. He later married Jeanette 'Cornbread' Wright Dec. 10, 1972. She has two daughters, Denise Lane and Malinda Wright. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Mr. Pauley was a former owner of several businesses, including Cycle Rama, Cadillac Lounge, The Matador, Archway Amusements, three pool halls, AA Used Auto Parts, and Auto Express. He loved going boating and camping with his family, along with racing at Godfrey Speedway and riding motorcycles.
The family will hold memorial services at a later date.
