St. Peter and Paul’s 27th Annual Christmas Bazaar Supports Helping Hands in Alton

Gloria Gray & Susan Schwegel join Our Daily Show to discuss St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church’s 27th annual Christmas Bazaar and how proceeds support the parish’s Helping Hands Ministry, which assists people in the Godfrey and Alton area. The ministry also operates a food pantry and provides donated furniture to people in need; the bazaar is its only annual fundraiser.

The bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 717 State Street in Alton. Guests describe the food, bake sale, vendor booths, Granny’s Attic sale, silent auction and raffles, including a $1,000 raffle and more than 100 prize baskets. Proceeds from Granny’s Attic and the bake sale also benefit the church’s Altar Society.
