Alton NAACP Holds 49th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet

This year's banquet welcomes new Alton NAACP branch president Andy Hightower. Teresa Haley, president of the Illinois branch of the NAACP, served as the keynote speaker with a discussion on the banquet theme "Unity in Times Like These." Proceeds from the evening's event will go to fund scholarships in the Alton area.
