Our Daily Show Interview! Katie & Deborah: Teen Mental Health First Aid

Then at 10:30 we are talking with Katie Venvertloh, and Deborah Humphrey- Executive Director of the Madison County Mental Health Board.
In June of this year the Mental Health Board approved funding to East Alton-Wood River Community High School for Teen Mental Health First Aid Instructors training and student handbooks. Teen Mental Health First Aid is a tremendous program teaching youth how to support their peers who may be experiencing mental health challenges. EAWR is now preparing to implement this school mental health program. Katie is the EAWR Student/Family Interventionist and leader in this effort. They will be filling us in on the program, and so much more
