The River Bend Growth Association celebrated the opening of Sherer Chiropractic Center with a ribbon cutting on Thursday February 18, 2016. Dr. Jacob Sherer thought the time was right to open his own practice and chose to bring his expertise in rehabilitation, chiropractic and nutritional services to Jerseyville, Illinois.
Massage Therapy is also offered at Sherer Chiropractic Center by Jay Worthy, LMT. Worthy’s massage techniques include Deep Tissue, Myo-Fascial, NeuroMuscular, Sports/Ortho-pedics and the eastern and ancient forms of therapy including Japanese Shiatsu, Chinese Tuina and Thai Yoga massage. Dr. Sherer’s staff is completed by Receptionist Deanna Hayn – who Sherer says was invaluable in helping him open his new office.
The RBGA event was attended by friends, family and Growth Association Ambassadors, all on hand to celebrate Sherer’s achievement and wish him success.
Dr. Sherer, who holds Masters Degrees in both Sports Science and Rehabilitation Nutrition and Human Performance, teaches Anatomy and Physiology at CALC Institute of Technology in Alton as well as a master’s class in Nutritional Assessment of the Athlete at Logan University.
