Judith M. Krpan, 78, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at her home.
Born Jan. 8, 1939 in Alton, she was the daughter of Louis G. and Edna M. (Bowen) Spiess.
Judy graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, and worked as a registered nurse for St. Joseph, Alton Memorial Hospitals and area nursing homes for over 30 years. She was a caring and compassionate person who was loved by her patients and all who knew her. She enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, family history and Elvis Presley.
Always a devoted mother and grandmother she is survived by two daughters, Deborah Davis of Alton and Denette (Paul) Palmer of Jerseyville; two grandsons, Nicholas and Jason Palmer; great grandson, Elijah Palmer and beloved cousin and friend, Carolyn Suhre.
