Mary Alene Kraushaar, 94, died at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Integrity of Alton. Born December 10, 1922 in East Alton, she was the daughter of Clarence P. and Mamie A. (Brown) Parker. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Owens (Tony) of St. Louis, and two sons, Robert Kraushaar (Bev) of Alton, and David Kraushaar (Linda) of Godfrey. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Susan Meletti (Robert) of Godfrey, Bobby Kraushaar (Laurie) of Brighton, and Jennifer Womack (Karen) of Springfield, IL, four great grandchildren, Dylan Meletti, Ashley Kraushaar, Dustin Kraushaar, and Sarah Womack, six great-great grandchildren, and special friends, Sam and Jan Wood and Patty Price. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant as well as a daughter, Della Cochran, a great grandson, Brian Womack, one brother, Henry Parker, and two sisters, Edith Harris and Evelyn Crain. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Sonny Renken will officiate.
