Surviving are his wife, Sharon Young of Kane;  a son and daughter in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Debbie Young of Edwardsville; a daughter, Tracy Young-Stacy of Glen Carbon; five grandchildren, Aaron Young, Brandon Young, Lily Stacy, Hazel Stacy and Lea Stacey; three step grandchildren, Adam, Alex and Blake Runyon; a sister and brother-in law, Connie and Arlin Parsell of Kane; his brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Dennis and Barbara Gaffney of Foley, Al. and Randall and Brenda Gaffney of Palmyra; along with several nieces and nephews.
