SKYVIEW DRIVE-IN'S "ICON-A-THON" FILM FESTIVAL

Skyview Drive-in Movie Theatre invites you out for a two-day “Icon-a-thon” Film Festival happening Friday, August 25th, and Saturday, August 26th. Celebrating legends of the silver screen, Skyview will be screening twelve films over the course of the two days.

 

The festival will feature special concessions items, anaglyph (red/blue) 3-D features, vendors, contests, and a film lineup spanning a whopping sixty-two years.

 

There’s bound to be something for every one of every age to enjoy!

 

Our film lineup is as follows...

Friday August 25th:

Screen 1 - THE BLOB (1958), NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968), and THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (1960). Screen 2 - AIRPLANE (1980), IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE in 3D (1953), and SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS (1964).

 

Saturday August 26th:

Screen 1 - KING KONG (1933), KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (1988), and WEIRD AL’S UHF (1989). Screen 2 - BLAZING SADDLES (1974), CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON in 3D (1954), and METROPOLIS (1927).

Admission to each day of the film festival can be pre-purchased via Eventbrite, linked below. Tickets are $45.00 per carload in our Eventbrite pre-sale, or $20.00 per individual person at the Box Office day-of (box office is cash only!). Our suggestion? Buy early, and pack 'em in! Pre-sale tickets close the day of the event at 5 PM. When purchasing advance tickets, PLEASE take note of if your vehicle is considered a HIGH RISE (above 5’ 3”) or LOW RISE (below 5’ 3”) vehicle! If you plan to open your rear hatch, this also includes height of the open hatch. Drive-in spots are assigned this way to make sure all patrons can view the screen. Any guest that arrives in a vehicle not matching their ticket classification will be turned away. We will not allow screen swapping at the event! All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.

The Box Office will open at 7 PM on both Friday and Saturday, with movies starting at Sun-Down. Please arrive before 7 PM if possible, and please have any pre-purchased tickets ready to check-in at the Box Office upon arrival. We want to get you settled into your spot as quickly and efficiently as possible, and any help doing so is much appreciated.
