The Calhoun County Fair is just around the corner, kicking off this early fall. It’s the perfect chance to dive into our vibrant farming community. You can check out livestock competitions, animal contests, and county fair pageants, and even catch the Illinois Farm Pullers truck pull. There’s also a demolition derby, tons of great food, and live entertainment.

Don’t miss the Junior Olympics, talent show, and horse show. Plus, join the celebration in the Calhoun County Fair Parade. There will be carnival rides for the kids too! Little ones aged 0-7 get in for free, admission for 8-15 year-olds is just $2, and for 16 and up, it’s between $8 and $10. Seniors get in for $8, but from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, their admission is free. You can grab tickets at the gate. Just a heads-up, it’s an alcohol-free event. Hope to see you there!
