Annual Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans and community members are invited to Alton VFW Post 1308 for its annual Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. on November 11.

The ceremony will honor those who have served and remember those who gave their lives defending the nation. The program will include a presentation of the National Colors by local Scouts, a flag-raising ceremony, the laying of wreaths, and the playing of taps. Food will be served afterward.
