Sherri Diane Kistner, 53, passed away on the eve of January 15, 2019 in Abrozia Heart Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
Born November 1, 1965 in Alton, she was the daughter of Maxine (Lievers) Newell Hutton of Cottage Hills and the late Robert Newell.
She lived in Cottage Hills, then moved to Mascoutah for several years before settling in Show Low, AZ.
Sherri had been a Home Healthcare Provider in Show Low; she loved Native American items as d enjoyed shopping and crafting. Her two cats were her loyal companions.
She loved her children, new grandchild and her family.
She married Zane Baird in Show Low. He died in 2018.
Surviving in addition to her mother are three children, Joshua Kistner, Kristen (Josh) Bearden all of Mascoutah, Zoey Kistner of St. Louis; a beautiful granddaughter, Evelyn Bearden;six brothers and sisters, Bobby Newell in North Carolina, Becky (George) Smith , Pam (Joe) Wiggins, Steve Newell all of Cottage Hills, Greg (Rhonda) Newell of Hartford, Kim (Dave) LeVeck of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will now be from 1 pm until time of service at 3 pm, Saturday, January 26 at Bethalto Church of God.
Pastor Rick Hill will officiate.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to Bethalto Church of God or the 5 A's Animal Shelter.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge.
