Frank Jacobson, Sr., 90, passed away at 9:17am on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1930, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of the late William Peter and Louise (Cunningham - Vielhak) Jacobson.
He married the former Yvonne Jeffries on June 30, 1956, in Crown Point, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2017.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in law: Debbie and Doug Meehan of Bailey, Colorado, Theresa and Glenn McArthur of Bethalto, three sons and two daughters in law: Frank and Linnea Jacobson, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, Leland Jacobson of Tyler, Texas, Clyde and Crystal Jacobson of Tyler, Texas, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great – great grandchild, a sister and brother in law: Orvillene and Tom Fiorentino of Hanna City, Illinois, two brothers and sisters in law: Joe and Joyce Jacobson of East Peoria, Illinois, Richard and Debbie Viehlak of Summerville, Florida, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Frank was employed as a lather for P&W Builders prior to working as a parts deliverer for S&K Chevrolet in Peoria. He was a member of Connect Church in South Roxana. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
