Vicky Linnette "Aunt Victor" Surratt, 55, died unexpectedly at 1:31 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023 in the emergency room at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.
She was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on November 17, 1968, the second of three children born to Francis "Sonny" and Doris Jean "Jeanie" (Baze) Surratt.
Vicky grew up in the Kane area, and graduated from Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville.
For many years she was employed with Wal-Mart in Jerseyville, Bowling Green, Missouri, and most recently Pittsfield. She had resided in Jerseyville for many years until relocating to Pleasant Hill to be closer to family.
Surviving are a brother, Kenny Surratt of Jerseyville; and a sister and brother in-law, Janeen and Ron Edwards of Pleasant Hill; four nieces and nephews and their spouses, Janessa and Braden Damon and Corby and Kayleigh Edwards, all of Pleasant Hill; Logan Surratt of Jerseyville, and Laura and Andrew Routh of St. Charles, Missouri; great nieces and nephews, Layla, Brock, and Reid Damon and Oakley Edwards; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Carrollton.
