Gregory Campion

Gregory “Scott” Campion, 69, died at 9:35 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO.  Born June 6, 1954, in Alton, he was the son of the late John and Vada (Chapman) Campion.  Scott received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Western Illinois University but farming was his true passion. Surviving are a brother and sister-n-law, Mike (Lori) Campion of Godfrey, a sister, Rita Bruns of Godfrey and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul Bruns and two half-brothers, Russell and Richard Kearby.  Private services will be held at a later date.  Gent Funeral Home, in Alton, is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com.
