Elijah Madison

Elijah Manuel Ayala Madison, 19, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in Grafton, Illinois, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born on September 27, 2005, in Jerseyville, Elijah was the beloved son of Manuel Ayala and Amy Madison.

A graduate of Jersey Community High School, Elijah was a hardworking and dedicated individual who excelled in his role as a manager at KFC in Jerseyville. He was known for his vibrant and free-spirited nature, a person who refused to let life’s challenges hold him back. Above all, Elijah cherished his family, placing them at the center of his world. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Kylen, who meant everything to him.

Elijah is survived by his father, Manuel Ayala; his mother and her companion, Amy Madison and Dallas Ferguson, Sr.; his precious son, Kylen Ayala Madison; three brothers, Niccolas Roberth, Dallas Ferguson, Jr., and Aiden Ferguson, all of Jerseyville; his grandfather, David Madison; a special friend, Trenton Saettele; special cousins, David Barrios-Madison and Alejandro Perez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vicky Madison and Elena Ortiz; as well as his great-grandparents, Diana and Arthel Akers.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.

Elijah will be remembered for his unstoppable spirit, his boundless love for his family, and the profound impact he left on everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
