Patricia Ann Brenker, 87, formerly of Fosterburg, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Cedarhurst of Bethalto.
Born Dec. 15, 1937 in Mt. Vernon, IL, she was the daughter of Lendell and Lila (Adkins) King.
Pat worked as an accounting specialist for Lewis & Clark Community College for over 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bethalto.
She married Marvin L. Brenker Nov. 19, 1966 in Bethalto. He survives, as well as her grandson, Nathan (Alyssa) Clarke of Wood River; a brother, Lendell Wayne King of Surprise, AZ; step children Nancy (David) Myer of Bunker Hill, Sharon Glidwell of Mississippi, Alan (Pam) Brenker of St. Charles, MO, and Paul (Donna) Brenker of Bunker Hill; and several step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Colette Sawyer; a grandson, Buford Clarke IV; a brother, Kenneth Loren King; a sister-in-law, Joan King; and a step son-in-law, Ken Glidwell.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 29 at First Baptist Church in Bethalto, from 4 p.m. until services begin at 6 p.m.
Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
