Daren Miller, 52, passed away at 9:45pm on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital.
He was born on October 1, 1972, in Alton, the son of the late Mary (Flowers) Miller and Donald Miller of Bethalto. He married Peter Rosenblatt on October 24, 2014, in Edwardsville, and he survives.
In addition to his dad and his husband, Daren is survived by two sisters: Karen Rhodes of East Alton, Donna (Mike Woolsey) Miller of Rosewood Heights, two brothers and a sister in law: Bill Miller of South Roxana, Robert and Cindy Miller of Wood River, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Daren was formerly employed as a cook at Bella Milano.
In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by his brother in law: Michael Rhodes.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
