Robert Eugene Madison Jr., 70, died at 1:34 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025 at his home in Alton.
Born August 14, 1954 in Alton, he was the son of Robert and Nina (Harris) Madison Sr.
Mr. Madison retired as a wood worker for Gateway Rail in 2022.
Surviving are three sons, Jacob Madison, Nick Madison, and Rob Madison III, one daughter, Abby Bagwill, nine grandchildren, Kelsey, Cassie, Ashton, Ashlynn, Nicholas, MacKenzie, Tyler, Trevor and Izzy, two great grandchildren, and a sister, Rose Mary Carter (Bob).
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Madison and Mike Madison.
No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
