Barbara Jean Maher, 77, of Godfrey passed away January 12, 2019 at her home.
She was born January 5, 1942 in Alton, IL to William and Mildred (Betz) Haas.
Barbara was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. She loved music, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by four children, Kelly Maher, Jennifer (Dennis) Horn, Gena (Pat) Nuernberger and Wendy (John) Schaaf; five grandchildren, Jacob, John and Adam Horn, Kayleigh (Jonathan) Parker and Conner Nuernberger; and two brothers, Bill (Karen) Haas and Steve (Cheri) Haas and her companion, Stan Bultema.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton.
