
James Olen Meisenheimer, 89, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
He was born December 16, 1931 in Alton the son of the late John and Ruth Lavora (Oesland) Meisenheimer.
He belonged to Local Union Hall 218 as a laborer. Jim was a member of Alton Eagles F.O.E. #254, and the Alton Weed and Seed Strategy. He won a law enforcement award from the Department of Justice and was a former Vice President and President of the Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Sharon Bridgeman and her husband John of Godfrey, step grandchildren, Jackie and Lester Williams, Maggie and Phil Kost and John and Karen Bridgeman and several Meisenheimer cousins.
